My name is Alexa, but I most often go by Lex. I was born and raised in Seattle, and have been lucky enough also call New York City, Italy, Australia, and London home. My love for travel started when I was 15 during a 4-week community service trip to Costa Rica. Somewhere between experiencing the Monteverde Cloud Reserve forest and the Manuel Antonio National Park beaches, a lifelong passion to explore the world’s wonders and adventures was born.

After graduating from the University of Washington, I moved to New York City, where I lived for 10 years, and was lucky to travel all over as a producer for VANITY FAIR. There I learned a lot about the importance of a strong location, and how it plays a crucial role in storytelling.

After 15+ years of planning travel as a producer, I became a travel advisor with FORA to expand my services and help people and families (not just productions) see the world, and experience different locations, in a way that is meaningful and inspiring to them - and their story.

Curating a seamless itinerary and managing every tiny detail is an art + a science, and I believe both are necessary for executing an amazing travel experience. Delivering professional client services, just like you expect when hiring an event planner, interior designer, or creative agency, is an important part of my approach to travel planning.

I love a hotel lobby full of character and a chic hotel bar. I love a coastal hike, and discovering new beaches via boat.
